Hello All I am just about to fit the cylinder heads and noticed one rocker was different to the other three, three have a small hole with a groove to direct oil to top of push rod with casting number 021867,
The odd one has no hole or groove casting number 014045, The profiles look the same,I have done a search no joy, I cant find them in JSL catalogue either. any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Alex.

The small oil hole and groove was an attempt to reduce wear in the over head gear by directing more oil to the problem points experianced by the early twins. I think this modification was introduced in the mid '50's and is documented in the work shop manual.
I have seen this modification done to the early rockers with no problem.
