Hello All, Could anybody tell me the position of the three rubber buffers for fork inner tube 3 per leg item no. 021911 I have a workshop manuel but there not mentioned,
Also could anybody supply me with the Lucas wire colours for the era,
my wiring diagram is smudged (Poor photo copy)

P S better still a wiring diagram for my model done a search can't find my model.

Alex, their job is to minimise the sound of the fork springs hitting the stanchions, the position is not critical to the operation of the forks. As a rule of thumb put the lower one just above the oil seal on full compression, the upper one just below the lower yoke and the middle one in the middle of those two (were you ahead of me with that one?).

Thanks for that Duncan, I've printed a wiring diagram off with the colour codes
