Hello again everybody what a brilliant site this is for info.
My question, whilst looking at magnetos on E-Bay A pair of 650 heads came up so in my haste I bought them, one of my heads the studs are broken off on the inlet so somebody has drilled off centre and put in a small metric stud 6 washers and tightened it up, I don`t think I can helicoil it not enough metal.
Are the heads the same for all twins the bores being the same, so what is the difference between a 600 and a 650 engine wise, if they don`t fit I will re-sell them
Thanks Alex.

Do a search here. Don is probably sick of answering this one. There's differences between early and later 650 stuff.

Age counts! The rare 1958 650 used the 600 heads. 1959 650 had it's own, one year only, head & 1960-up do not interchange with any earlier.
Cheers, Don.
