1951 G9 centre web bearing

Post by chris165900 »

I hope someone can assist with my problem, which I thought would have been fairly simple, but have had no success with so far. I have the earlier centre bearing (011547) which has the integral thrust washers. This has proved impossible to locate so far.
Does anyone know a source for these bearings. I need a set of +30 or possibly +40, if the +30's are not available.
Any leads would be greatfully appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

I think Les is right,I did a twin not too long ago,and when I went to Kettering all the undersizes were in stock for mains and big ends.I'm doing another one now and as soon as I know what undersize the crank is to be ground, to I'll be straight back there. You did check the club scheme didn't you Chris?

Thanks Les and Steve.
I must admit, I didn't check with the spares scheme, as they did not have them listed. I probably assumed too much. Will check with them first in future!

Thanks again
