G9 QD sprocket

G9 QD sprocket
Hi all, does anybody know why there are small holes drilled adjacent to each pin hole in the sprocket? 2 have been filled...I can't upload a pic...saying its too big a file..

Possibly an attempt to stop the worn pin clonk.

My immediate thought too. Just ignore it and get some oversize pins, Les at Russels had a stock, not sure if they re used up.Duncan wrote:Possibly an attempt to stop the worn pin clonk.

Thanks for your help all, just thought I'd check to make sure I wasn't missing something...I don't know if it clonks yet as I have just got it and the wheels are away being rebuilt, I will check Russell motors out...
