Hi, I removed the chrome cover to fit a new copper gasket, and now it won't screw all the way back in. It stops a mm short. It seems like the oil distributor is a mm or so too far out and is half covering the hole. Any thoughts?

Re: Exhaust camshaft and oil distributor question
OK, cancel that, problem solved. It seems that the oil distributor pulled out slightly when the cover was removed, and went back at an angle so wasn't engaged on the camshaft end.
