M20 ended up as part M30
Hi all from india ,What started as a 1952 M20 with a 59 cases and modified 52 barrels I have managed to finish up as a M30 as I bought G11 barrels and heads from the USA.I live in india and as AMC twins are so rare in india.I was wondering if somebody could help me with a picture of the 59 crankcase filter with the dimension of the filter .Thanks in advance

No, the 56-59 twins didn't have any pressure relief valve. If it's a plunger with a loose spring, it will be pre 56. If it's retained by a circlip it will be after 59.
Cheers Dave.

The year should be on the front of the drive side crankcases.

If it's retained by a circlip you need the one piece filter assembly. Page 18 in the 1960 manual:
