Hi everyone
I have a AJS model 20 1954, the carburetor Amal 76at/1ef is very poor is there other Amal carburetor I can use.

You could use a 1" 376 monobloc and jet it as for the 1955 G9.

That is : 376/6 1" bore, 240 main jet , 30 pilot jet , No4 slide, centre notch needle setting, .1065 needle jet.

How did you go jensendk?
I finally replaced my pre mono with the suggested carb and guess what?
Running like new :D :D :D

I put the monobloc on my model 20 and it make life Easier. It is running just perfect 😜🇩🇰
