1953 500 Twin Gearbox
Can anyone point me to a blowup drawing of the B52 gearbox as used on the 1953 500 twin? I am working on the bike for a friend and have ordered a service manual from the club, not here yet. Also, the push button on the magneto cover, is that a kill switch? This is a lovely little bike, look forward to hearing it run.

Welcome to the Club and these Forums, Kevin.
You will find all manuals (Owners, Workshop, Spares list) for the bike here under 'Books':
http://archives.jampot.dk/
Here you'll find exploded drawings and overhaul articles for B52 'box from the same website page as the link above but under Technical...Transmission...Burman:

Yes, the button is a Kill switch. It shorts the contact breaker low tension supply to Earth (Ground).
