Mark Russell mentioned using a K&N filter in place of the [expletive deleted] airbox-and-filters arrangement of the original. Would he (or anyone else) like to explain how it's done?
I'm especially interested as my Mikuni carb is 5mm longer than the original Dellorto, so if the airbox has to be disturbed it's not exactly a five-minute job.
There doesn't seem much room for an alternative filter - how does it fit in? And what about the breather pipe connection? I know of one owner who has diverted his to blow oil mist onto the chain, though.
