First thought is YES but have you already tried and had difficulty?

Hi Paul, you should have the E3N dynamo, this is longer than the preceding versions (1945-49). I can definitely say that it is possible to get the cover off, I did this to ease a sticky brush. I think it would be fiddly to remove the brushes, but not impossible.
