Inquiry regarding twin pilot lamps for AJS 18S from 1954.
I’m searching for new glass for the twin pilots lamps, both the white and the red ones. Does the club have these in their catalogues? If not, do you know where I can buy them?
Is it possible to renew the bulb holder? If so, how do I? Is it possible to buy new holders?
Best Regard

I am advised that Lucas do still hold stocks of new old parts. The lights were used on a number of 1950's/early 60's cars. The white glass Lucas part number is 573615 165. I know cause I've got one in a box but sorry - I need it

Doubt it possible to buy new parts for the pilot lights - Best source of spares are autojumbles where these lights were fitted to AMC models and also to the origional Austin A35 motor car - I have so far sourced two sets average cost about £10 for the pair complete
In most cases the A35 units were painted and therefore will in addition need stripping and re-chroming in the UK that cost me a further £10
Good hunting
