What's your opinion on best carb for 500
My AJS has a 930 concentric which while the bike runs fine is showing significant wear to slide and body.
If/when I change carb is the original fitted Monoblock a better carb or stick with concentric, has anyone tried one of the Wassel concentric copies?

Monobloc every time. Heard very mixed reports about the Wassel concentrics.

I run a Wassell concentric on my M16 350 , tick's over and runs a treat . alot better than My admittedly well worn Monobloc . No complaints on the Wassell carb

the latest concentric evolution have removable jet , rather than the original bush .oddly exactly the same as the latest Amal concentric.
ive used them on my P11 for years and haven't see any difference from Amal one except 50% the price
