Hi all I have just replaced the front and rear sprocket on my 1948 G80. Along with the sprockets I purchased a new chain (IWIS M106SL 91 link) which is too short. My old chain is made up of 93 links. I purchased a 94 link chain also but this is to long. I have pressed out two links to make it 92 but this is now to short. Long story short I now need to purchase a 1/2 link and new rivets/pins to make my 92 link to a 93. I could also use the discarded link from my 94 and put it into my 91 and convert this also to a 93. The root problem is my bike is a basket case and nothing matches to specs. Can anyone help to identify a supplier (preferably in Australia) where I can purchase this items. Also what is the imperial size of this chain (i am assuming that M106SL is a metric measurement with SL meaning short Link).
Thanks
Chris

Re: g80 drive chain
Hi
The chain was originally 5/8" pitch x 0.305" width and 94 links
The Reynolds web site is a mine of good information:
https://www.renold.com/products/industr ... in/renold/
Can't help with a down under suppliers address but surely Reynolds have outlets there.
Regards Mick
