Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the '49 G80s and the G80c? I realize that the 'c' stands for completion but what's the difference. Is it the engine or was it the cycle parts too? Is there anything significant? Cheers!

Hi Tim.
There seem to be too many differences to list in detail.
The 1949 Spares List (your stated year) covers only the rigid (G80L & G80LC), not your sprung 'S' frame model. However, 'Parts special to Competition models' are listed from page 45:

Have a look at the 1950 list which may help with the sprung 'S' model:

Re: G80s vs G80c
There is a huge difference which is clearly seen in the sales cat..

I believe there is only a picture of the 350 16C ( rigid rear end ) which should only differ by engine size to the 18C, to compare the difference to the 18 ( rigid rear end ) & 18S ( sprung rear end )
Comp bike frame number will have a C suffix
