I suppose that as long as your primary chain case is the constant loss type that would be a good idea. Otherwise there is the possibility you could end up with clutch slip if it over fills.

My primary chain case certainly fits the constant loss requirement though it does seem to stabilise when it finds its ‘natural' level so assume the breather isn't adding too much. The new rings are probably helping there.
