John, that is a very shiny clutch centre is made from alloy? If so would a reduced lip have sufficient strength?

Hi Andy hear what you are saying about the length of the rollers. I have mic'ed mine and they are all at 0.2495” diameter x (from memory) 0.230” long and in good condition so are probably going back in.

No, not alloy. It's plated steel.

Just a quick update NVOS (new very old stock!) and nice and greasy centre which I suspect is WD G3L has just arrived from the Netherlands and will soon be installed. Also now have the correct tab washer and a clutch holding tool.

See my mod for wobbly/poor fitting clutch centre, under tech articles. This also acts as additional locking for the centre nut.

I like it... Unfortunately, since I retired, I have no facilities to make something like that any more. Have you considered knocking up a few for sale?

You probably realise this but the rollers only 'roll' when the clutch is free (disengaged) so they get very little wear.
