Total built?

Post by cfaber »

Does anyone have any sources for how many 18S's were built? A quick ask from google yields loads of noise and not much info.
Fix it until it's broken!

Otherwise how will
anything get done?

I am sure that will be impossible to discover. The number series was shared with other AJS & Matchless models.

As the clubs dating officer, my question is why do you need to know.

Hi Roy,

Build counts are a common record for many vehicles, I figured there may be some record for these bikes as well, as I find such information interesting and worth cataloguing in my mind.

Ah very interesting, so ~900 / year average., I wonder what the total facorty outout was for these years

Do you happen to know what records exist from the business possibly tracking inventory? Im thinking this mayprovide additional clues to per year build rates
:geek:

Thank you Roy for the clues so far!

Beers on me if you ever make it out to Colorado
