tank

Mig Tig or Braze?

I,ve covered the rust with Aqua steel, a recommended rust remover/converter.

The rest of the tank seems solid

Hi

If all of the penetrations are in the floor of the tank it would be fairly straightforward to replace the two bottom panels - TIG will be the method least likely to induce heat related distortion. Suggest you find a good TIG welder and take the tank to him so as he can inspect the task first hand.
I'd guess the cost of repair is going to be commensurate with that of an Indian replacement, (if they're available), so it's down to how 'original' you wish to keep the bike.
