I believe you are absolutely correct there Rob. Some 20+ years ago I fully rebuilt a B52 'box with all new bushes and bearings. It was far and away the worst, slowest changing, gearbox I've ever had. Some 25000 Miles later it is starting to loosen up and is now reasonably good.
