My 1958 model 18 cuts out after moving off a few metres, seems fine on the stand when revving it.
Checked and cleaned the concentric carb, changed fuel.
I know most fuel problems are ignition, but the magneto seems to be ok and the bike starts readily. Being a Velocette owner I'm used to sorting starting tantrums, but this one is most odd....

Re: cutting out
When it cuts out on the move, have you checked for a spark.? I was just wondering if there may be a poor connection or broken wire which might cause this problem.
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is.
