I have heard that one of these filters
(http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Emgo-Fltr-Oil ... 2127397972)
can be used in 1954 G80 if a spacer is made up (which presume goes on the top after it has been put in). Has anyone done this? - anyone have the exact dimension for the spacer which is required? I presume it is a significant improvement re filtering out far more than the felt item.

Re: paper oil filter G80
If you go to photos, choose twins parts pictures and it's on page 1. It uses a Triumph Trident/ BSA Rocket 3 paper filter. No sizes but the length is the old filter minus the new filter. Width is the filter tunnel minus clearance. I think more details are given somewhere, perhaps on the forum?
