Torque setting - crank compensating and dynamo nut

The spares service sell a modified nut which is nothing like the original.

I cant see how this would lock, could you explain?

I said it was modified, didn't say it would work or who actually thought it would work. It clearly can't lock as there is no groove even for a circlip to lock into. Not seen one like it before only found the picture on the web page yesterday.
