Used a piece of 1/4 inch square section rod bent at right angle and fastened to stand leg with two jubbly clips.
Some black paint and job done :)
Keep shiny side up.

I took the side stand off, heated it to red with a propane torch and bent it out a little. Not enough to appreciably change the lean angle but just enough for me to flip it out with my toe while I'm sitting on the bike.
I'm from the Fens.... Gimme six.

Hello G80 owners - is there a photo anywhere of the CENTRE STAND SPRING in the correct position? I have got my spring wound up with Jubilee clips, but am not sure which way it goes. Any photo please?
