G80s 1954 Carburettor -going a bit potty - Help!

Post by StephenG80 »

Hi - as the original carb is no longer available I am aiming on getting a new Amol Monobloc as fitted from 1955 on wards. The carbs listed on AMOC parts list are not listed against models and the part number to not correspond to Amol part number. According to the spares on the Amol page I need a 389/1 (see http://amalcarb.co.uk/carbspec/carburet ... s/id/6671/) but none of the carbs listed on the AMOC parts service correspond to this carb, the ones listed are 376/100, 376/16, 389/18, 389/18.5 or 389/19. so which one equates to 389/1?

Any help gratefully received

The carbs are generic spec and are jetted according to model when ordered.
Just drop them an email - spares@jampot.com - give them model, year plus whether you have an air filter fitted and they will do the rest.

£130 + VAT and P+P on top. The club is still the cheapest place to buy carbs.

Yes but the shop that doesn't have them in stock is always the cheapest for anything and when new stock comes in they usually tell you the price has gone up.
