Engine Reconditioning

I own a 350 G3, 1961 vintage, and am mechanically inept. Anyone know if there is somewhere i can get my engine and gearbox reconditioned in East Sussex or close by?

I rode the bike last summer, but excessive vibration caused the timing chain case to break free of the engine casing causing a fracture to same. Any one had a similar problem or cure?

There is a repair facility being set up under the jampot spares roof. Give them a ring. They should also be able to fix you up with a used cover to replace the broken one you have. NO i have never heard of the component breaking unless a chain has given way or similar. i suspect it was probable weakened by a previous misdemeaner or mal handling by a previous owner. You expect a little vibration from a spritely little single but not to shake apart alloy castings. Les Smith
