Push rod tubes

There are four sizes of tubes in the spares catalogue (6 5/16, 6 9/16, 7 9/16 & 7 15/16), none under the part No. I want, (010952) Which do I need for a 1954 G3. I can't measure the old tubes, because the wrong head (post '54) is fitted.

Alan,it's simple,buy the tubes to fit the wrong head!Or you could try wot I just did.Assemble the head/barrel combination you want to use without any seals in the head,then you can assess the length needed by looking at the tube to see how far it pokes into the valve chest area.Worked for me anyway.Can't be any more specific as yours is more "modern" than mine.

Thanks Steve - but the bike is running with the wrong head, I need the bike to be in bits for the shortest possible time, so I need all the bits to hand before I start.

Alan. Why not ask Ian Fraser on Monday night. I'm sure his 350 is a '54
