Amal concentric and 16m

Post by Angelo »

Hi - I am thinking of putting a new concentric on my 1947 16m - the current 276 is playing up and no end of fettling is making it tick over so it looks like body wear.

I am thinking about going concentric if something else - any advice and jetting required would be appreciated.

Thanks I advance

I'd dump the idea of a concentric and get a monobloc. You'll be forever mucking about with the concentric.

Sorry, pre-mono 76D/1J

Hi Angelo,

Hope you are well, long time no see, if you speak to Amal they could advise you on what size and set up to use.

Kind regards Colin

I put a new concentric on my 1953 M16 , to re place a very worn Carb . Been on now over 2 years with no problems at all . Tickover is smooth , starts first kick ( when there's no public audience ) . Fuel consumption improved

I wonder if you had the spec for the concentric - size and jets?

Thanks
