Starting trouble, many thanks

Post by tippi11 »

Here is the update: I got the SR-1 magneto back from overhaul, mounted it and adjusted ignition timing (it is now with an auto advance unit I recently bought) - and believe it or not: engine fires and runs!!!
Again, many thanks to all of you who guided me through this process from the beginning and encouraged me to keep going ...
Regards, Peter

Ciao Peter. Thank you for reporting your success. Knowing what ultimately was the problem, has put this lad and I suspect many others at rest. All to often, folks on this and other forums, try their hardest to help, and the original poster takes the help, and wanders off, never to be heard of again.

Thank you for taking the time!
Ciao, DC
