Removed the rear wheel on my 57 G3 to check the brake shoes.
On reassemble the wheel spins freely until I tighten the nut fully then the wheel spins but is slightly harder to spin.
What could make the wheel tighter to spin, I've checked and all the parts are in correct sequence.
Not 100% sure if this was like it before removing wheel.
It has the new Andrew Engineering bearings fitted...

Re: Rear wheel
It sounds like the bearing may be tightening up. Is the Andrews bearing a taper roller one or ball bearing? If its ball bearing I wonder if the internal spacer between the bearings needs to be different.

Re: Rear wheel
Is the speedo drive located correctly in the drive slots, if not this will cause the symptoms you're describing

Re: Rear wheel
It's the tapered roller bearing, the speedo gearbox is fitted snug on the lugs Rob ðŸ‘ðŸ‘( ps brilliant centre stand )
