Oil feed pipe

Postby mikeydpippin » Sat Jun 15, 2019 4:58 pm

I,m attempting to sort out a leak on the feed and return pipe, I have removed both pipes where they fit into the engine casing.
Part no. 011924 shown has a washer fitted and not sure if this is meant to be there, as I can’t find the part number for it.
If I put loctite thread sealer on the threads will that be enough, or is there some kind of goo I can put on the copper pipe.

Yes... It's supposed to be there. It comes with the union if you buy one or you can get it separately (Part No: 015528). You shouldn't need any sealer on the copper pipe but I have used HondaBond (YamaBond, ThreeBond... etc) on one that was past it's best.
