Hi Nigel,
I also have a concern over this bearing (see my post) ... if you still have the bearing from the club can you please measure, and let me know, the length of the rollers. I've asked the club but no reply yet.
Cheers,
John W.

I can't make any comment on the length of the rollers but if it's any consolation the bearing we stock is on the advice and recommendation of those that have been answering your posts. Ozmadman, Clanger and Martin S gave us the info from where they sourced their replacements and we subsequently bought a batch.

Yes, but if they're got 9mm rollers then there's no point selling them because they won't fit!

Hi John,

The bearing rollers are 6mm long. I did use a vernier but for the photo I used a rule. Sorry its not very good.
If you need any other info let me know.
Nige.

Surely a local bearing supplier would fix you up with a bearing with a inner race to suit your modded shaft.

If they have I'm gonna blame you as you gave me the bearing number and spec. :D

That's the endless mystery of Lightweight gearbox parts. Even when you've got the right one, it still doesn't !@£$% fit...

Very true.

Looking through the spec sheet on the 205 bearing we asked to be supplied the roller should be approx 6mm as the overall thickness is 15mm less the cage 4.25mm per side.

Thanks Nigel, that's brilliant. The box in your photo says RNU205 which other manufacturers make with 9mm rollers which is a bit confusing. Anyway, I'll get one from the club.
Cheers,
John
