Mine is fitted to a small bracket attached to the shock absorber bottom mount. It works fine, but it might not be an option if the chain guard is in the way...

Hi Bob, looks like I now own the g5 you had. Switch is identical to your photo. Take it you never managed to change it?

See the latest issue (814) of 'Jampot' May 2020 for a very good guide on how to fit the switch as it should.
