getting the miles on

Post by shifter »

Been out and about on the 8 in this grand weather we are having, camping weekend in Scotland, bird of prey spotting at Kielder (Ospreys) also quite a local vintage/steam/classic show, various local runs, now preparing for a jaunt to the lake district.

Yep, plan to be riding up through Kielder Forest to Scotland this weekend.

I uploaded a photo last night OK - but it was less intersting - grease guns!

Don't you lot go using up all the good weather at Kielder  Im heading up there myself on Thursday for a few days sailing. One of these days I'll take a motorbike with me - its usually my bicycle that comes along for a ride around the reservoir - and for getting to the pub in Falstone ;) .

Rob, there's something you really need to accept. It isn't your little bike. It used to be your little bike but it isn't anymore. I know it's hard for you to hear but I'm telling you this for your own good.

Janet - Rob brought the little bike back to life all those years ago so in my eye even though there has been quite a bit more done to it he still is due credit, and yes Rob the little 8 rides spot on.

It's all in good fun and Janet's well aware, that's why she's telling me off in a nice way!

Hard to believe it's nearly 20 yrs since it was redone.

Don't forget who saved it from the scrap heap after Kettering could not sell it. ;)
