I am trying to resurrect a lightweight model 8 from boxes of bits which the seller assures me are all complete. He also gave me a 1960 spares list supplied and photocopied by a well known motorcycle tech books firm. The problem is that whilst all the parts numbers are comprehensive the only drawings are of the engine, which is in one piece anyway ,the hubs and front forks.Does anyone know where I can obtain a more complete set of drawings?
Thanks

I always thought that they were a bigger engine in the 250 frame. The swining arm and rear end looks identical.
Probably someone with far greater knowledge than I will know more. I will see if a guy who is rebuilding one turns up at the bike club tonight, and I'll ask him.
There's a model 8 in the photo's section to compare

Looking in to Roy Bacons book I think it is a 350 cc version of the 250 lightweight or 348 cc to be precise. There are at least two photographs in his large book one of a 1961 on page 60 and a 1962 on page 200
