G5 Kickstart lever.

Can anyone help me locate a kickstart lever for a G5? The one fitted is not correct and although it fits the splines are non-existant and I am going to b*% gger-up the shaft.Thanks in anticipation!

Having tried all the usual places and drawn a blank I could see a summer of bump starting the old girl (and the G5 ! )Then as luck would have it my local man looked in his big box and lo and behold a lever from an obscure old Honda off-roader is a perfect fit!Being a Honda part it is not of the usual AMC quality but over the years I will endeavour to bring the 'bike up to the new standard!In the off chance that another L/W owner is out there bumping away,drop me a line and I'll try to get the Honda part no.We all new that the Japs had just copied our stuff----here ,now is the definative proof!
