I asked a week or so ago about " hunting" on my recently rebuilt G5.Having put most of the advice into practice I have reduced the problem but not eradicated it.Can anyone comment on the use of "colour tune"? Does it perform throughout the full carburetor range? The machine ticks over quite well, starts with not too much effort, and seems to pull OK on an open(ish) throttle ,(still running -in)but there is still an element of "hunting".Adjusting the needle is not an easy task as the carb' sits up almost inside the tank ( which is a b- gger to refit when removed! ) Any advice gladly received. Crawford.
Hard work never killed anyone.....but why take the risk?

It may make it easier to get at the needle by replacing one (or both) of the carb studs with bolts.
It works a treat on my single and I don't have to take the tank off to fettle the carb. It may not work for your G5 though.
Just a thought!
As for hunting, IKBA (Hons).
