My G5 has a home made cowling over the top of the gearbox which looks a bit odd. I have just advertised for one on the club website. Looking at the spares book, the parts numbers for this item are different between the 250 and the 350 (wouldn't you just know it). Is therer are easy way of telling one from t'other or can the wrong one be made to fit without major panel beating and welding skills?
Thanks

Re: Engine Cowling - G5
Steve at AMC spares had some pattern ones. You do need to trim a little off them to fit the G5 as they are G2 . They are good quality recommended. Part no 042404 listed under the Frame section on his web site.
