Hi Guys.... bit of a daft question but where does the battery live ???- I can't see a platform on the stripped down frame

Definitely use some sort of rubber/cushion mounting. Originally I had the battery held in place with a steel strap and it failed very quickly due to the vibration. Note this is a non-standard 12V setup.
