Hi all,
we have been looking at the clutch on the G2 and it seems to slip a shade when starting but not under power on the road. I tease it over tdc and then I'm fine.
all adjustments at pushrod and clutch centre screw done and free play on cable etc.
springs wound up the the end of the thread as per book but I have had to wind them in a bit more to stand half a chance of starting it.
so I reckon it is time for 3 new friction plates as the others may be glazed or plain old and hard.
is there any particular thickness I need to look for please ??
while I am in there , I may do the clutch cush rubbers as well - any advice on these please
