Step down rims, used years ago to replace flat glass rims on very old bikes, to take a sealed beam unit. Is it one of those, They usually step down from 8" flat glass rim to 7" sealed beam dome unit.

No Rob it's a stepdown rim for the L/Ws. It reduces the rim to take a 5 3/4" headlight, I had one on my 350 Mod 8.Rob Harknett wrote:Step down rims, used years ago to replace flat glass rims on very old bikes, to take a sealed beam unit. I never looked at what was on offer on e bay Rob. If it was a step down rim from 8" to 7" dome sealed beam unit, that may be rarer. I had one fitted on my 36 AJS when I got it, but converted it back to original.ajscomboman wrote:No Rob it's a stepdown rim for the L/Ws.
