Auto Advance Unit Missing - any help what I can do

Anyone can let me know which auto advance unit I require including plate as I cannot find anywhere.

Hi auto advance units are almost unobtainable. You would be extremely lucky to find one . Your best bet is to convert your bike to electronic ignition which will also mean an upgrade to 12 v . There's advice and a recommendation in a previous post from Steve . Good luck with your search.

Hi Chris,

I dont no if im lucky but I think I managed to find one :)

Just need the plate anyone has ?

I would like to keep bike in 6v if posible for originality.

I have one I keep for a spare as they are very rare. Its said that they are not repairable but I repaired my original one and it is fine. They usually wear on the pivot points of the weights which allows the weights to tilt forward too far and they jam up. Just remove the small clips, get some very small thin washers and pack up the gap to stop the amount of tilt and then replace the clips. The springs are available form club spares
