Thanks Dave got all the parts I need except for the 6 outer cover screws, parts section have none and say they are very hard to get hold of, the ones I took out the heads split in half at the slots. I have lost/mislaid my parts book at the mo if I cant find it I will get my daughter to download one

041085. 6 off Hint ????? the two inspection cover screws are 1/2" 2 BA. Perhaps the 6 screws are 2 BA . try one of the cover screws. If it fits. Look for 2BA screws you can cut to suit length. I guess they won't fit, so discover the screw thread you want, and buy size or longer to cut down.

Hi

If they are a standard design 2BA cheese head these people can help:

http://www.namrick.co.uk/acatalog/Home_ ... d_132.html

Failing that measure one of the salvaged ones to determine the thread and post a photo - pretty sure they will be available somewhere.

Regards Mick

I'm sure the little 2ba screws that hold the inspection cover would have been smaller dia. They are also a standard fitting used since prewar era in many places on a bike. Anyway screws required now found.
