it's ALIVE !!!
Got all the electrics connected up but still temporarily as I'll be removing the forks/headlamp and other painted bits for a tidy up.
I filled the carb and it was firing and kicking back so retarded the timing a fraction and away it went.
Oil is returning to the tank.
Not bad for a bike that has been sleeping since 2001.
Over the next few weeks it will be paint and generally getting it in a roadworthy condition.
Overall I'm pleased

Not with too many requests I hope as the spares supply for L/Ws is very limited. This is partly due to supply and demand but also because we don't have much in the way of samples to reverse manufacture parts from.

No just general British bike stuff cables/petrol tap corks/ carb gasket kit etc but if I can get hold of any chrome parts or used mudguards (alloy or genuine) that would help.
If not it'll be aerosol silver on those bits lol
