WXF 945 Combination

Post by Beardyrich »

Hi Guys,
My first posting on your forum. I am looking for any information regarding the AJS m/c combination WXF 945. This belonged to my Dad in the 1960s and I have some interesting info for the owner if he can be located.

Hi,
Well the good news is the bike is still on the road. Checking the Gov website its taxed until September this year. Unfortunately it doesnt mean the owner is a club member or looks on the website, but its a start! It may not still have the chair attached though...
Regards kk
Top tip - if it needs more than 2 bolts to hold it on, its probably important...

Hi Ajscomboman, interesting to see that your location is Hampshire.
My late father, who once owned your bike, lived near to Southampton.
If you would like to pm me or email me at rdrayson@icloud.com I can give you some info on it.
Naturally, I would love to know more about the bike now and whether or not it is still on the road etc.
Cheers.

Cheeky bugger! :) In 27yrs it's let me down 2 times, first time was down to a condenser packing up and the second time it turned a valve seat (you know about that sort of thing  )
