I have photographs of the above dating back to around 1950. My father owned the bike then in Northampton.
I was wondering if the bike still exists and maybe on your register?
Perhaps the owner would like a copy of the pictures?
He owned several bikes, I am not sure of what they are but include Norton's, BSA, Panther?, Royal Enfield, Triumph etc. all late 40's early 50's. Having restored old cars I know history like this can be valuable to the owner, I can scan and email them to those interested.

Be nice to see the pictures Eamonn. RP is a Northampton reg. no. 7906 is late in the 1929 series of numbers that were prefixed RP.
The bike could had been an early 1930 model, registered very late in 1929. I do not have it listed on the prewar data base, although I do not have all the machine reg. no's.
