UKE 247 Early 50s G3

Post by 20/40 »

With regard my previous post about a Twin caught on film...........I have found on the same series of short film's a clip of Eric Harris's Early 50s G3......I say G3 ..........as it looks like one but might be slapped across the wrist by someone who might consider it to be a G80  . If you can bare it the plot runs like this............. The life of a "Traffic Warden" I kid you not........anyway the Blonde Bimbo .....( Irene ) does her bit etc etc and when she gets home ......Hubby cooks her dinner  1968 mind you........for a treat he takes her out for a ride on his Motor Bike......but it is a Yamaha fartbox. The AMC single has a problem by the look of the way it is in a state of repair. the clip is 6.23 into a 8.13 film so please try not to massacre the screen. If UKE 247 is out there I am sure its owner would be glad to see how Eric Harris looked after it way back when.

Judging by the hubs I think it must be a 1954 bike.
What's he doing trying to put the back wheel in the wrong way round?
Sorry to be a saddo,
Steve

Ah yes, well spotted - and it is a four door too. Like most of them today - fakes! I guess that the green flash may have been a dealer option?
