Matchless KR 6033

Post by peteroz »

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me identify the bike in the (hopefully) attached/linked picture?

This is my Dad on his Matchless taken sometime in the early 1930s I guess, probably sometime before he went to India (Pakistan as is now) and Irag with the RAF.

The Reg no. doesn't show up on the DVLA site so the bike is probably not around anymore, but I'd really like to know as much as possible about the bike. I know that my Mum would ride in a sidecar with him, but don't know whether this was the same bike to which he added a sidecar, or a totally different combination.

Any info gratefully received, thanks.

Peter, if you're having trouble with the pictures, check the FAQ area - click on the question mark button at the top of the page and look about half way down on the left of the list of frequent questions.

Eamonn,
I've checked the FAQ, but I only have an 'Options' tab below the reply window. The 'Upload attachment' tab is not visible.
Should I be doing something else?
