Just in case anyone's looking for this bike, it's now in the Isle of Man and was registered here in February 2000 according to the old log book, having been imported from the UK. Declared built in 1952
It's a Matchless G80; originally a G3L but converted to 500cc spec at some stage in its life. Originally a solo machine; now attached to a sidecar.
I'd be very happy to hear from anyone who owned or knew this machine.
Cheers,
Phil
