lost the spark ( and maybe the plot!!)

whilst trying to cure a missfire on 1958 16ms ,i have changed the condensor & the points , now i have no spark at all , could it be something simple?
losing the plot now!!
any help welcome

Check over the assembly of the points/condenser.It is very easy to misplace an insulating washer and short the points to earth.

Why did you change them ?? If not totally knackered if Steve's suggestion does not do the trick then see if the old set still work and replace one at a time. It's not imposible to get a duff new condenser - is it?
